Over the coming months we are going to begin implementing DNSSEC support for a few TLDs.

Domains ending with:

  • .com
  • .me
  • .net
  • .org
  • .in

will be affected with more to come in the future as more TLDs adopt the standard.

What is DNSSEC?

Probably the best people to explain what DNSSEC is are some of the people implementing the standard - ICANN. Another good source, albeit open to vandalism, is Wikipedia. The long and short is that it ensures the people visiting your page, your business, that the domain they've typed in is the domain they're seeing.

There will be no extra charge for this service and it will be automatically rolled out as it becomes available to more TLDs in the future.

UPDATE (Feb 4, 2014): As of now, all of the domains registered with us that end with the above TLDs are DNSSEC enabled. We look forward to expanding into more TLDs in the future!
